Delicious authentic Mexican tacos, gorditas and more in this unassuming location. The birria tacos were my favorite, but the chicken gorditas and Al pastor tacos were also wonderful.

I'm not sure if you'll like this. Jamay like this, or Jamay not. You'll have to come and see for yourself. So here we have even more delicious Mexican food in Katy, which is now starting to get a lot more delicious Mexican food than they ever had before. I'd estimate that in the last 5 years, they went from a dozen good Mexican places to 5 or 6 dozen. Yes, it's moved that quickly. It's a wonderful food truck with cheap prices, and everything I've had is absolutely delicious. This is where I usually stop and shop when Barbi is at one of the many many nearby Katy Superstores and I'm just waiting to pick her up. And by shop, I mean gorge myself on cheap, delicious tacos.

BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IN KATY!! My family and I have been coming to this place for 6+ years and the food and service keep been awesome!! Everything on their menu is very good. The Menudo is delicious If you are looking for a place with authentic Mexican tacos , tortas, menudo , burritos and gorditas Jamay is the place to go. This place has amazing breakfast tacos! I've been looking for a local Katy spot close to Firethorne with homemade tortillas and fresh ingredients, and this is the best I've found so far. I've had the bacon, egg, and potato and bacon, egg, and cheese so far and both are delicious. Make sure to grab some of the green sauce if you like heat since it has a great flavor and kick. The employee that usually assists me with the takeout order is super friendly and is always smiling in a good mood. I absolutey recommend anyone in the area check them out, especially if you're a breakfast taco fiend like me.
